Use your account settings

1. Open Dance Jot and sign in to the account you want deleted.
2. Go to Profile/Settings and select Delete Account.
3. Follow the confirmation prompts to complete the request.

Reauthentication may be required to confirm that you own the account. This may include signing in again with your email, Apple, or Google account.

Request deletion by email

Email dancejotapp@gmail.com with the subject Dance Jot account deletion request. Send the message from the email address on your Dance Jot account, or clearly identify that account email in your message so ownership can be verified.

Never send your Dance Jot password, Apple password, Google password, authentication code, or recovery code.

What deletion covers

Account and user-created records

Deleting your Dance Jot account includes deletion of the following account data and user-created records stored under the deleted account:

• Your Dance Jot authentication account and account profile
• User-created dances, competitions, scores, and schedules
• Teams and rosters stored under your account
• Family and studio connections linked to your account
• Uploads, including supported photos, files, and saved media
• Push-notification tokens and notification settings
• Goals, training records, and saved critique data

Family and studio links connected to the deleted account are removed. A record or copy independently owned by another linked family, studio, teacher, or dancer account may remain in that other account and is managed according to that account's controls.

Limited transaction, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained only when required for those purposes. De-identified backup copies may remain temporarily until they age out through normal backup rotation.

Cancel billing separately

Deleting your Dance Jot account does not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through your Apple or Google account subscription settings to stop future store billing.
